Remember its not about the winning, its about the participation, hence many of our members have high standings due to their participation!

We introduced Poomsae into the overall points this year, and this has really led to an upsurge in the practice and performance levels of our club

Well done Kim, Jed, Sean, and hard luck to those who were close behind!!

Finally, a major thanks to every SDTKD Coach, Junior Coach, Member, parent & supporter who made our participation possible.

Player Points League - 2015 - Final Standings1

THIS YEAR POOMSAE EVENTS WILL BE ALSO COUNTED IN THE OVERALL STANDINGS!!

The PPL is a internal friendly club event to encourage participation to support events in Ireland and add a competitive fun leaderboard in the club where all ages, grades & abilities have the most level playing field possible. Beginner veterans have the same likelihood as winning as cadet advanced, brothers can compete against sisters, and parents against children!!..  and maybe most importantly players can compete against themselves to try to improve on their 2014 standing. This leaderboard also allows us to see who is topping their groups in different classes, age groups or gender.

Remember leaderboard positioning is not all about ability or winning, it is very much about PARTICIPATION, hence such high points are awared for just showing up to support your team and event organizers!

Points will be awarded as last year….

Participation – 10
Gold – 10
Silver – 7
Bronze – 5

Only one medal per event will be counted…. [if a player enters individual, pair and 3 man in a poomsae event, the highest placing medal will be counted!]

Points will be awarded for all local tournaments held by ITU & UTANI Poomsae Events such as:

1) UTA NI Inter Club Poomsae

2) Meath Open

3) SDTKD Championships

4) Northern Ireland International Poomsae Championships

5) Irish Open

6) Irish Nationals

7) Any other local full kyorugi events that may beadded to ITU Calender

Good Luck Everybody, and Have Some Fun!
