CHRISTMAS CHARITY APPEAL

Hi All,

SDTKD is collecting surplus martial arts equipment for a charitable Cause in Africa. Coach Robert has been in dialogue with the Lesotho Taekwondo President / London Olympic Referee
Moshoeshoe Mokake to arrange a shipment of gear to Lesotho before this Christmas 2014. This initiative was intended to happen last year, but with difficult logistics issues it was not possible.

Any students with any old uniforms, belts, equipment in reasonable condition, which you are no longer using and who would like to give them away, please bring your items to the club for collection at upcoming classes. Please keep uniform top & bottoms in one plastic bag, so it is not separated.

We welcome any equipment from other clubs and will do our best to meet up to collect gear from you if possible.

SDTKD will also contribute an amount of Brand New equipment to the package which will be shipped before Xmas.

SDTKD will be holding a Charity Collection in the near future donating older Taekwondo equipment to a suitable
Cause in the developing Taekwondo World. SDTKD has made contact with a suggested Charity in Africa and is in the early stages of agreeing logistics of donations to this worthy cause. If anyone has old Taekwondo equipment such as ; uniforms, belts, pads, sparring gear, etc in reasonable condition, and you would like to donate them to this cause, please hold onto them & collection details will be noted in the near future. Non-SDTKD members also most welcome to contribute. Further details to follow shortly.
